NFL Football Week 15 Free Picks

The NFL week 15 picks include the worst of the worst. These eight teams either are out of the playoffs or would need a miracle, not a minor one either, to make the NFL post season. We’re including the Cardinals-Panthers, Browns-Bengals, Broncos-Raiders and Bills-Dolphins in out NFL week 15 picks.

Despite their poor to mediocre records, these games matter because the winners will slide further down the draft board and theoretically further away from correcting their problems.

Arizona Cardinals +2½ +100
Game Total 38
Carolina Panthers -2½ -120

The 4-9 Arizona Cardinals take on the 1-12 Panthers in Carolina. Despite owning three extra wins, the Cards are 2½ point underdogs. It’s because they are down to their fourth string quarterback, John Skelton.

After Matt Leinart was cut in training camp, the Cards have used Derek Anderson and Max Hall but both have alternated being injured or ineffective. The 25 points scored by kicker Jay Feely last Sunday was more points than the Cards have scored in any game this year.

The Carolina Panthers have one win; they dumped the 49ers during San Francisco’s early season struggles. Really, both teams are offensively challenged and defensively horrible.

Take the under 38 points because both offenses are inept and neither team’s defense is good enough to capitalize on turnovers.

Cleveland Browns +1½ -110
Game Total 39½
Cincinnati Bengals -1½ -110

The Cincinnati Bengals have been horrible this season. Of any of the teams near the bottom of the league, they could use potential number one over pick Andrew Luck more than anyone. The Bengals receiving corps has been wasted with a past his prime Carson Palmer.

The Cleveland Browns offense has stagnated since Rookie Colt McCoy sprained his ankle. Jake Delhomme hasn’t been the answer the Browns were hoping for this season. On the Brightside, McCoy might be ready for game time and I’ll pray he’s good to go and include the Browns in my NFL week 15 picks.

Denver Broncos +6½ -110
Game Total 44½
Oakland Raiders -6½ -110

In the AFC, the Oakland Raiders are the team to hate. For the better part of the decade, they’ve been the worst of the division but in 2010, they’ve shown rays of light. Darren McFadden is always just a block away from scoring a touchdown.

They had the AFC South leading Jacksonville Jaguars right down to the wire but a defensive lapse allowed Maurice Jones-Drew to break off a huge run.

The Denver Broncos franchise was left in a huge hole left by the Josh McDaniel regime. They are horrible against the run, the Raiders are the third best rushing team in the league. That will be the difference as the Raiders will win this by a wide margin. Include the Raiders -6½ in your NFL Week 15 picks.

Buffalo Bills +5 -110
Game Total 40½
Miami Dolphins -5 -110

The Buffalo Bills won straight up last week, it was great for moral but it likely killed their chances at Andrew Luck, even if he drops from his number one spot. Despite only having three wins on the season, Chan Gailey’s squad is playing hard and beating expectations with a 6-1-1 ATS record since week 7.

The Miami Dolphins offense is miserable, now that opponents realize they can’t throw, opponents can stuff the box and stop the run. This game will be a close one, I’d lean towards the Bills at +5 but I love the under 40½ points. Take the Bills/Dolphins under 40½ in your NFL week 15 betting picks.
